(Munich, 22 July 2024) Bentley Motors today announced the highly-anticipated European debut of the all-new, fourth generation Continental GT Speed. The most powerful, road-going Bentley ever will be seen for the first time in public at the first ever Concours of Elegance in Tegernsee, Germany, edition on the weekend of July 26 and 27.

Powered by a 782 PS, 1000 Nm ‘Ultra Performance Hybrid’ powertrain, Bentley’s class-leading Grand Tourer is capable of 81 km of usable electric-only range, while emitting just 29 g/km of CO2 on the WLTP drive cycle. The combination of a V8 engine with a plug-in 25.9 kWh battery allows the Continental GT Speed to achieve 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds and a top speed of 335 km/h.

The ultimate in handcrafted luxury, the latest Continental GT Speed also benefits from a comprehensive redesign both inside and out. Bentley’s new design DNA now presents a more muscular, contemporary statement, exemplified by single front headlamps that herald a design revolution for the British brand.

The new Continental GT Speed features the Bentley Performance Active Chassis, which includes Active All-Wheel Drive, electronic limited slip differential, all-wheel steering  and Bentley Dynamic Ride. Inside, the four-seat cabin offers wellness seat technology, new air ionisation and three-dimensional, textured leather upholstery, as well as revised quilting and a new dark chrome finish.

Marco van Aalten, Head of Germany at Bentley Motors Europe, commented:

“The new Concours of Elegance at Lake Tegernsee in Bavaria offers the perfect environment  to celebrate the European debut of the definitive Grand Tourer. The new Continental GT Speed in Convertible form will perfectly sit alongside the finest in jewellery, fashion and exclusive experiences.

“We hope customers will come and admire the ultimate blend of supercar performance and handcrafted luxury in such a unique and luxurious setting where car lovers meet.”

The Concours of Elegance at Tegernsee will feature 50 stunning cars selected by an international committee of automotive experts. More than 60 vehicles will be auctioned by RM Sotheby’s, with a host of specially invited cars on each day.
